YOGYAKARTA- DAY 4 / DAY 5
Day 4
Started the day off with a ride of almost 3 hours to SOLO.
SOLO is the name of a place.
According to google,
Solo the short name for Surakarta, is a major city in Central Java, Indonesia. Together with Yogyakarta, these two cities are heirs of the Mataram kingdom that was split in 1755.
Our tour guide for SOLO.
Jangan tenung lama-lama ya. haha
Sri with Kak Deavi. BFF. haha
After a tour round the place, we drove off to the Antique market, which sells basically everything that is antique.
Stopped by the Batik House along our way back to the hotel, to shop for Batiks for our loved ones.
The journey back was another 3 hours.
Day 4 was quite tiring, not because we walked a lot, it's the long journey in the car that makes us restless. haha.
Then, we also had a massage, which felt really good, after all that walking and sitting in the car.
Stopped by the mall to get our last dinner of the trip, before heading off to the hotel to pack our luggage.
So, that marks our journey in Yogyakarta.
Feels good to have an escapade from work , studies , people etc.
I gain a new friend (Sri), and also bonded with my 2 fellow travel mates.
I sure enjoyed every moment of the holiday.
Can't wait to pack my luggage and travel to another place.
Another destination, new experiences, making new friends, making memories.
Day 5.
Flight back to Singapore.
Said our goodbyes to our fellow tour guide, Sri who was an awesome tour guide cum friend throughout the 5 days with us and of course our very patient driver.
Hehe.
We hope to see you'all again. Insya allah.
Yogyakarta.
You've been great.
